HOW IS ECONOMIC INEQUITY A FEMINIST ISSUE

HOW IS ECONOMIC INEQUITY A FEMINIST ISSUE???

Economic Inequity becomes a feminist issue because women are treated different than men at all times . Women and men usually have different roles and responsibilities in their daily work.  Men tend to do heavier, riskier work that is usually located outside the home. Men are pay more money than women. There is a higher level of violence around women.
women have less opportunities of advancement at work, women have unequal access to economic resources, such as, capital ,credit, labor and land, women usually have limited opportunities for employment and career advancement. That's why nearly 70% of women are poor.

  1. I agree with what you said in your post. I also found a list that has classes and it shows the lowest class have the highest amount of women and I think we have the same view on why this is.

  2. I definitely agree with you. Women tend to have more obstacles such as being oppressed as women, like you mentioned violence. Also, many women end up being poor like you mentioned because they were in a marriage or relationship with a man, and men make more money, usually.
