feminism in jeopardy

Argument

First wave bring us the right to vote.

This author Kristin Rowe- Finkbeiner argues that during the colonial times, voting was limited to adult males who owened  property.  It wasn't until the early nineteen century due to social changes and conditions, and women receiving education that some women came out and started a movement called woman suffrage which fought for the right of women to vote.
Like Susan B. Anthony. Who was born in Feb 15,1820 in Adams, Mass.  She was a teacher for 15 years, joint the women right movement in 1852, and soon after dedicated her life to the women suffrage movement.  She also campaing for the abolition of slavery, women's right to their own property and earings and women's labor organization. Was never married and she remain active until her death on March 13, 1906.
Another important woman who led the women suffrage movement was Elizabeth Cady Stanton.  Born in Nov 12,1815 in Johnstown, NY. She was a writter, suffragist and a women's right activist.  Got married to Henry Brewster Staton in 1840.  Mother of 7 kids. Died Oct 26, 1902.  This women belong to the first wave of feminism.

The second wave of feminism focused on specific goals relating women's issues, it was also argued that it was more representative of middle and upper class white women.  The second wave includes activist like Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan.
The third wave brings together the second wave fight for women's to have professional career opportunity, but also a different view of feminism centered on a more sexually and racially diverse philosophy.

I believe women still struggle in society. we still no equal to men in some aspects of real life .  Men still get more pay than women, some jobs are not given to women because we are consider the weak, and some men still believe that women should obey men.
